CLIMATe CHANGE IS NOT A MYTH FOR US, TAKING CARE OF NATURE AND TRYING TO LIVE A MORE ECOLOGICAL LIFE IS IMPORTANT
Things we do to improve our ecological footprint
– Toilets and irrigation are fed by a large underground watertank. A project will be started to multiply our water recyling, using a filtering field, in combination with a natural pond.
– We provide our customers using a hybrid or full electrical car with a charging point. One of our own cars runs on natural gas, the other one is a hybrid.
– Upcoming projects : creation of own electricity by means of solar panels, in combination with battery storage, to become less grid dependent.
– Installation of thermopanels, in order to create own hot water mostly by solar energy.
Food and wine: local comes first
– We strive to serve our guest, honest home cooked meals, with respect for the products.
– This results in maximum efforts to either produce herbs and some vegetables ourselves, do most of our baking traditionnaly, and make from “buy locally” our motto. We plan a green house, in order to produce our own wide variety of tomatoes.
– As le Marche is an exceptional, though unfortunately lesser known, wine region, most of the wines we offer are locally produced.e
